Orange Chair Design Lab is a creative learning studio where students master the fundamentals of graphic design while making a real-world impact. Guided by our tagline, “students designing for good,” students explore typography, layout, color theory, branding, and visual storytelling as they design for posters, stickers, T-shirts, and other marketing swag. Through partnerships with nonprofit organizations, students work on real client projects—building professional portfolios, gaining hands-on experience, and strengthening communication and collaboration skills. Middle and high school participants also earn volunteer hour credit for their nonprofit work, turning their creativity into meaningful community impact.
